Drink in Some Summer

By July 28, 2016No Comments

This is the kind of drink that you make and take outside to sip and savor slowly while either reading a book, playing a board game or lounging by the pool. I don’t have a pool, but if I did I’d certainly do some lounging! We do play board games and read a lot through the summer though, and this is what I make to keep the family cool and refreshed.

I found this drink being served in the juice bar at PCC in Issaquah when they first opened 12 years ago or so. For some reason they took it off their menu, but it’s been a family favorite with us ever since!

Recipemelonyum

1/2 of a cantaloupe (take out seeds)

1/4 of a watermelon

Add about 1 inch of your choice of milk (coconut, cow, goat, almond, etc) to the bottom of the blender.

Blend until smooth.

Drink…
Sigh with delight.
