A Daylong Retreat for Body, Mind, and Soul

Did you know that current medical research estimates as much as 90% of illness and disease is related to chronic stress?  Stress is known to increase inflammation in the body which affects your health, aging, cognitive processing, and more.

Because we aren’t taught how to deal with our stress, most people go through life simply accumulating and storing it in their bodies, which eventually leads to disease or health issues of some sort.

A good analogy might be trying to drive your car and seeing a few raindrops on the windshield. All is well for a while. You can still see when there are only a few drops. But as time goes on, more and more drops accumulate, and you start to have trouble making things out clearly. Eventually, there are so many drops you can’t see anything at all.

The easy way to fix it is to turn on your windshield wiper. With a few swipes you can see again. If the raindrops are your stressors, then somatic release practices are your windshield wipers. Used on a daily basis you’ll be able to see more clearly and enjoy life more fully!

The first half of the day will be spent exploring somatic stress-release practices. These simple practices are ones you’ll be able to use on your own to help yourself daily. During the second half, you’ll enjoy restoration practices to bring your body back into harmony and ease. You’ll experience gentle movement techniques, myofascial release, and even meditation with a sound bath of crystal singing bowls to fill and nourish your inner self. The combination of both parts (release and then restore) will leave you feeling light, refreshed, and recharged in body, mind, and soul.

Please note that in between the two sessions, there will be a 45-minute break for you to go grab a bite to eat in Issaquah.

Because I am so committed to this work and want everyone to be able to have these tools, I’ve set up two payment choices. The fair price is $111. For those who would not be able to attend without a bit of help, I’m offering a reduced price of $66.

I’ve rented a different venue with more space for this retreat. The event will take place in person at the Studio In Issaquah. 1871 NW Gilman Blvd. Issaquah, WA 98027.
